The U/X-lock is a small U-lock with two shackles of different lengths. It has been awarded the ART*2 and Sold Secure Gold bicycle lock security levels as a lightweight, secure U-lock and therefore offers a high level of theft protection for bicycles. It is also easy to clean, durable and protects against paint scratches.
The British Sold Secure organization has awarded the small shackle lock the Sold Secure Gold Label. According to this, the U/X-lock offers a "high level of resistance against special tools to prevent targeted attacks".
The independent ART Foundation has awarded the U/X-lock eyelet -Bundle the ART*2 seal of approval. The ART*2 bicycle lock offers "high theft protection for bicycles". Bicycle insurance companies even often require an ART lock with two or more stars.
The U/X-lock shackle is secured on both sides inside the locking cylinder. This double protection makes the shackle lock much more resistant to attacks compared to a single-locked shackle lock, where thieves only have to pick one side. The disk locking cylinder is also secure against lock picking.
The longer X-lock shackle secures several bike parts or your bike to fixed objects. With the shorter U-lock shackle, it becomes a mini U-lock that sits closer to the bike and makes it all the more difficult to break open. The U/X-lock fits around the seat tube and rear wheel at the same time if the distance between the tube and the inside of the rim is less than 13 cm. Basically, it fits around all tire widths up to 45 mm.
While riding, you can attach the U/X-lock to the bike without it getting in the way when pedaling. Transportation is even easier with the U-lock holder or with the bike lock bag.
Thanks to its low weight and compact dimensions, the small, lightweight U-lock is particularly easy to lock and unlock. The U/X-lock shackle also sits securely in your hand thanks to the rubber coating.

The rubber coating on both bars reliably protects your paintwork from scratches. If the U/X-lock moves back and forth on your frame while riding or bumps against the frame when you connect it, you don't have to worry about damaging your bike's paintwork.
The shackles are made of specially hardened steel treated with rust protection, making the lock very robust. The rubber coating gives the shackle lock additional protection against rain, mud, snow, ice, UV rays and other influences. The keyhole cover also keeps the lock cylinder inside free from dust, water and dirt.
