The British Sold Secure organization has awarded the U-lock the Sold Secure Diamond label. According to this, the D-lock offers the "highest level of theft protection for bicycles, even against serious attacks with special tools such as angle grinders".

ART*3-certified U-lock:

The independent ART Foundation has awarded the D-lock eyelet-Bundle the ART*3 seal of approval. The ART*3 bicycle lock offers "good protection for bicycles with a high risk of theft as well as for scooters and mopeds". The special shackle is crucial for this security.

The D-lock shackle is secured on both sides inside the lock cylinder. This double protection makes the shackle lock much more resistant to attacks compared to a single-locked shackle lock, where thieves only have to pick one side. The disc locking cylinder is also secure against lock picking

20.4 cm long and 8.5 cm wide, the D-lock fits around the frame, the rear wheel and a solid object. The rubberized bracket sits firmly in your hand and does not fall out of the mechanism unintentionally thanks to the suspension in the locking cylinder. Compared to a bracket with a round profile, the triangular profile is 30% more robust against attacks.
