The texlock eyelet cable is an additional security device for U-locks. The U-lock cable, also known as a loop cable, extends the security radius of a U-lock. Several bicycle components or other vehicles can be looped around it and additionally connected.

The slim rope fits through narrow openings, is very flexible and soft. The patented HybridSecure™ material structure with integrated steel core offers protection against sawing, cutting and fire attacks. At the same time, it protects the paintwork from scratches and does not rattle when driving.

The eyelet cable can be used with all standard U-locks. Several eyelet ropes can be connected and allow almost unlimited ranges when connecting.

1. Place the eyelet U-lock cable around the frame and, if necessary, around other bike components such as the front wheel or saddle.
2. Feed the small eyelet through the large one to create a fixed loop and connect several components together.
3. Optional: If required, a second eyelet cable can be fed through the large eyelet to attach additional vehicles or objects, e.g. bicycle trailers or children's bicycles.
4. Place the remaining rope around a fixed object, for example a bicycle stand or lamppost.
5. Insert the shackle of your existing shackle lock through the small eyelet and connect the lock to the fixed object.

The HybridSecure™ material structure in the eyelet rope gives the U-lock extension saw, cut, fire and paint protection.
How secure your setup is overall depends primarily on your U-lock.

The eyelet rope of the generation (texlock 2.0) has a hardened steel core. Multi-layered high-tech fibres further increase resistance to sawing and cutting tools.
In combination with a high-quality U-lock, a very reliable anti-theft device is created.

The slim, flexible eyelet cable fits through narrow openings and around narrow components. This allows you to secure not only bicycles but also e-scooters, bike trailers, pushchairs or other mobile objects - in combination with your U-lock.

The eyelet cable serves as an extension for all standard U-locks. The only important thing is that the shackle must not be thicker than 26 mm so that it fits through the small metal eyelet (internal dimension: 27 mm).
