HybridSecure™ is the technological foundation of all texlock bike locks.
In this patented material architecture, several high-tech fibres and a specially hardened steel core are woven together to create a resistant and uniquely flexible composite.
It is not a simple shell, but a multi-layered, connected structure that combines mechanical, thermal and surface-related protective functions in a single composite.

The HybridSecure™ material architecture does not function according to the „chain with cover“ principle, but as a composite technology.
Steel and high-tech fibres form a common material structure in which mechanical, thermal and surface-related protective functions act simultaneously. It is not just the individual materials that are decisive, but the way in which they are resilient and inseparably bonded together.
This design (composite technology) makes it possible to combine high safety with great flexibility without the disadvantages of classic steel chains or simple textile coverings.
texlock therefore does not rely on an external protective cover, but on an integrated material solution that has been developed as a complete system.
The hybrid ropes are produced in specialised textile processes and are further processed and assembled in our own factory in Germany.
Here, the material composites are connected to the lock components, precisely adjusted and checked in several test steps.
Every texlock undergoes a careful final inspection to ensure that its design, workmanship and function meet the high standards required of a safety product.
texlock bike locks are independently tested and are certified with ART2, ART3, Sold Secure Gold and Sold Secure Diamond depending on the model and lock combination.
