The texlock eyelet-Set consists of the eyelet rope and a U-lock.

Depending on your security requirements, the Set is optionally available with the UX-lock (mini U-lock) with two shackles of different lengths or with the D-lock. Both are ART and Sold Secure certified and cover the highest security levels for bicycles.

The cable, also known as a loop cable, has two sturdy eyelets and significantly extends the connection range of a U-lock. This makes it easy to connect several bike components or bikes at the same time in almost any situation.

In combination with the patented HybridSecure™ material structure of the rope with integrated steel core, a reliable combination of flexibility, reach and protection is created.

The eyelet rope is also available separately to extend a eyelet-Set or for use with an existing shackle lock.

1. Place the eyelet cable around the frame and, if necessary, around other bike components such as the front wheel or saddle.
2. Thread the small eyelet through the large one to create a tight loop.
3. Place the remaining rope around a fixed object, for example a bicycle stand or lamppost.
4. Insert the shackle of the shackle lock through the small eyelet and connect the lock to the fixed object.

The security level results from the interaction between the selected U-lock and the eyelet cable.

UX-lock Set - ART2 / Sold Secure Gold:

• Provides resistance against common tools, e.g. 60 cm bolt cutters, for several minutes (without leverage).
• Suitable for medium risk of theft in everyday life.

D-lock Set - ART3 / Sold Secure Diamond:

• Also resists attacks with special tools.
• Designed for high-quality bicycles, e-bikes, e-scooters and other vehicles with a high risk of theft.

In addition, the eyelet rope with hardened steel core and multi-layered high-tech fibres protects against sawing, cutting and fire attacks.

No. The textile surface and rubberised eyelets are pleasantly soft and cling to your clothing. Both U-locks are also plastic-coated.

The slim, flexible eyelet cable fits through narrow openings and around narrow components.
In addition to bicycles, e-bikes and e-scooters, you can also use it to secure trailers, pushchairs or other mobile objects - in combination with the UX-lock or D-lock, depending on your security requirements.

More and more insurers are requiring an independently tested bike lock - such as ART - when taking out a contract.
