texlock orbit is a practical all-in-one bike lock with an integrated lock body. It is locked with a simple click, without the need for a key; a key is only required to open it.

The high-quality locking cylinder is additionally reinforced by a robust housing. Several hardened steel discs and an anti-drill plate in the housing protect the locking cylinder from attacks such as lock picking, over-tightening and drilling.

The textile cable of the orbit, like all texlock locks, is based on the patented HybridSecure™ technology with integrated steel core and protects against saws, cutting tools, fire and paint scratches.

Our award-winning orbit is ART2-certified and is a practical all-in-one solution for everyday use. It protects the frame from scratches and doesn't rattle while riding. For transport, it can simply be worn on the body or stowed in the texlock bike lock bag.

1. Place the textile lock around the bicycle frame, if possible also around the front or rear wheel and a fixed object such as a bicycle stand or lamppost.
2. Insert the locking bolt into the integrated locking cylinder - thanks to Click & Go, the lock can be locked without a key.
3. If you need more range, you can connect two orbits with Click & Connect. To do this, insert the locking bolt of the first orbit into the locking cylinder of the second and secure your bike as usual.

The texlock orbit of the second generation (texlock 2.0) is ART2-certified.
The patented HybridSecure™ textile composite with hardened steel core offers cut, saw and fire protection and provides resistance to common tools such as 60 cm bolt cutters (without leverage).

The integrated lock body with hardened steel components and drill protection further increases security and protects against lock picking, over-tightening and drilling.

Yes, with Click & Connect you can connect two orbit locks and increase the range. To do this, insert the locking bolt of one orbit into the lock body of the other orbit.

The orbit is also suitable as a secondary lock, e.g. for bicycles or e-bikes with a frame lock without an opening for a plug-in chain. These bikes can also be connected to a fixed object with the orbit.

Yes, more and more insurers are requiring an independently tested lock, such as the ART standard, when taking out bicycle insurance.
