The U/X-lock has two shackles of different lengths that you can use in different ways. The shorter U-lock shackle sits close to the bike, making it particularly difficult for thieves to pick. The longer X-lock shackle secures several bike parts at the same time or your bike on a solid object. Both shackles can be locked on both sides, so thieves have to pick both sides before they can open the shackle lock.
